Johnson City Family Photography { Tri-Cities Photographer }

Ah, I normally don't share family sessions on my blog but this family was super special to me. Every once in a while you meet a client and their family and just click instantly and know in your heart you were meant to meet them and experience the love they share as a family. I'm so extremely privileged to meet and photograph each and every person, family, and event I have. For if I never picked up my camera to begin with, there are so many amazing people and moments I would miss out on... Today, I am so very grateful... <3 <3 Thank you ALL for allowing me to be involved in these memories <3

The Dream Pt. 2 | Kingsport Models { Tri-Cities Talent Photography }

Part of fulfilling my dreams includes working with models that want to pursue a career in the talent industry. Professional head shots and building a portfolio for photographers and other talent is crucial to get into the fashion/acting/music industry. Parents of course always beware and make sure that you are working with reputable talent agencies.

This sweet young lady did a fantastic job for me, I'm thinking Ralph Lauren or Gap kids needs to take a look at this talent! What a beauty!!! <3

The Dream | Johnson City Fine Art Photography {Johnson City Modeling}

I tell my children all the time that if they can dream it, then it is theirs to achieve. I'm reminding myself of my own advice today. For a very long time, I have dreamt of photographing in a more editorial fashion choosing to be creative however I see fit. If I dream it, I'm going to shoot it- no excuses. As mothers and wives we often get so busy helping everyone else achieve their dreams that we put our own on hold. While that is noble, it does good for the soul and the household if everyone is happy and fulfilled. I'm setting a goal, one creative project a month for me- AT LEAST. With this I hope to grow as a  photographer and tackle the lighting, shooting, and editing techniques I desire to conquer. What makes your heart happy? Are you making sure your dreams are being fulfilled?

Here is one of my latest projects, my model was such a joy to work with- thank you Sarah for your hard work!

If you are reading this and interested in modeling for me in the future, please send me an email using the contact form on my website: www.mysweetdreamsphotography.com

Bella | Johnson City Photographer

For a long time I've wanted to take the time to grow in whimsical portraits for children/adults and also dabble in fine art photography.  I'm having so much fun and I thank Miss Bella and her family for letting me use Bella as my muse for this session. Bella was a total natural!
